Michael Barisonek's Orchestrelle equipped with e-valves

Following ar a couple of pics of the e-valve system devised by Ron Schmuck in Canada for Michael Barisonek's Orchestrelle Michael's brief comments follow, more pics and details to come.

I wish I could take credit for engineering it, but I can only say that it was my idea, and found the right guy to get it done!

Ron Schmuck supplied and installed it.

The system uses a Midiator board that controls solenoids in an enclosed pressurized box that is "T" connected in parallel with the tracker bar.

(See photos below)

A 12 Volt power supply and a pipe organ blower were also built into the case.(The blower is the one that Richard Vance used for his outside system for this instrument)

The whole package fits neatly below the tracker bar, and most of all works great!

The laptop on the table to the right controls it.

This instrument plays from the midi better than it plays rolls, for reasons I can only speculate.
